Project 52 Update | Central Massachusetts Lifestyle Photographer

Well, I'm 8 weeks in to my photography project for 2017 and thought I'd post an update on my work! Some weeks I haven't exactly been following the prompts given but I am shooting personally on a weekly basis and that was definitely my number 1 goal for this project. When I followed The Bethadilly Challenge for a daily photo in 2015, it was a great way to get me shooting every day and I saw vast improvements over the course of that year! Now that I have switched over to a weekly project, my goal is to really continue to define my style and improve upon the skills I have already built. If you enjoy these updates, feel free to check out #thebethadilly52 on Instagram for inspiration from other amazing photographers!

Week 4 | Depth

This was my depth shot for week 4. Baby girl was reading on our bed in some lovely morning light and I used the plush comforter to add some depth to the image.

And because I couldn't choose just one picture from this photo series..

Week 5 | Exposure

This week had been filled with a family photo shoot and my first wedding of 2017! I decided to play with exposure at each session!

Week 6 | From Above

This week, I was determined to recreate a self-portrait I had taken last year. Not exactly shot from above, but I fell in love with this photo series! These are just a few of my favorites!

Week 7 | Love

What could be easier to document the week of Valentine's Day? My little love & her love of books!

Week 8 | Movement

Week 8 isn't over yet and I would love to take some movement photos with a slow shutter speed! But so far this week, I have been putting some finishing touches on my new home office space and I am totally in love with it! It may deserve a post all of its own! Waiting on my new office chair, maybe some spinning chair photos will be coming!

Hope you enjoy going on this little photography journey with me!
