5 Favorite Locations for your New England Photo Session

Here are a few of my favorite locations to use for your session! I am also always up for a new adventure so if you have a specific location in mind, lets brainstorm how to make it work for you!

1. Your home! There is no location that is more unique to your family than your home. I love the intimate feel it offers to your session and how it instantly puts your family members at ease! Not only that, but you will come to cherish family photos and family moments in your current home as your family gets older, especially if you ever move!

2. Bancroft Castle in Groton. With its lovely views and architectural features, this location is quickly gaining popularity for all types of photo sessions. It offers spectacular sunset views and a cool look in to history. It is also (usually) secluded so you don’t feel on display while posing with your loved ones!

3. The Old Stone Church in West Boylston. This is a classic location used by many photographers. The space is very diverse and offers several beautiful views to be used! From the stone church itself to its water from views, this location has no shortage of beautiful backdrops to use in your photo session.

4. The beach, any beach, every beach! I am an ocean girl at heart. Nothing makes my heart happier and gets my creative juices flowing like being seaside. Whether it is Bass Rocks in Gloucester or the Nubble Lighthouse in York,

5. Downtown areas such as Concord, Newburyport, Rockport, etc.. Any town that might be meaningful to you that has a cute downtown area is always fun to explore! I love capturing a family in action, like going out for ice cream and exploring little shops. Using the architectural elements of buildings and structures can add a very pleasant backdrop to your beautiful family moments.
