Elizabeth & Jesse's June Wedding | The 228 in Sterling, MA
On a lovely June day in Sterling, Massachusetts Elizabeth & Jesse got married under a beautiful, full tree at The 228 surrounded by family and friends.
We started the day at the DoubleTree Hotel in Leominster, where the bride and her bridesmaids got ready for the day. The mood was relaxed and exciting as the girls put on the finishing touches before leaving for the venue. I really loved the variety of space that was available for capturing this special time between friends!
After capturing some of the decor details and the groom with his groomsmen, we waited in anticipation for the ceremony to begin.
The ceremony was calm and full of love, just like Jesse & Elizabeth’s relationship! Through the process of getting to know them as a couple. I discovered that they enjoy hanging out at home, listening to music, and enjoying life’s most basic joys. We did part of their engagement session in-home and this allowed me to truly understand their relationship prior to the wedding day!
During the ceremony, they planted a tree with dirt mixed in from each of their childhood homes. I had never seen this before and it was truly touching!
The rustic barn, fire pit, and large yard provided a beautiful setting for the rest of the evening. With delicious BBQ, fun tunes, and some great entertainment there was no shortage of fun to capture.
