3 Reasons I love to photograph couples who are madly in love | Central Massachusetts Wedding Photographer

Is there anything more contagious than the love of a couple that plans to get married? All of the hopes & plans for the future. The pure joy of that person's company. The butterflies you get when you think of spending every day for the rest of your lives together. I LOVE capturing love in a photograph. It is so sweet and fun and true. When you find the right person and you feel so comfortable with them, it shows beautifully in a photograph! So let's get into this, the top 3 reasons why I love to photograph couples who are madly in love!

"I'm much more me when I'm with you."

1- They bring out a comfort in one another that is so sweet to watch, and it also puts me at ease. Sitting in front of a stranger's camera is not always the easiest place to show your deepest feelings of love, and be comfortable with it! But the excitement of engagement photos is something many people want to have documented as they begin their lives together. When you are with the person you can't wait to spend the rest of your life with, an inner calmness sometimes takes over and its easier to trust that your true love for one another will come shining through in those photographs!

I love that I asked them to just sit together as they normally would as this bride-to-be made herself completely comfortable!

"When someone else's happiness is your happiness, that's love."
-Lana Del Ray

2- It is one of the happiest times of our lives when we are in love and planning to be married! And if you haven't checked out my about me page yet, you may not know this but I LOVE to photograph happy people! I love catching couples laughing together. I love the sweet smiles when I ask one to tell the other a secret. Really, love makes me happy and I love to see other people in love too :)

“A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.”
Annie Leibovitz

3- I want each couple I photograph to be able to look back on their pictures from their engagement session and remember exactly how they felt that day. I look at my own engagement photos from 5 years ago and I can remember clearly, how blistering hot it was in the Kentucky summer heat, how excited I was to be having our first professional photographs taken together, how we went out to eat after just because it felt too special to go home and not do anything. I was so anxious to see all of our photos as soon as we parted ways with our photographer. I still feel that excitement when I look through those photos and they bring me back to a simpler time, pre-deployments, pre-babies, when it was just my husband and I on a tiny budget, making life work and totally in love! I want you to have those memories too! I would love to share in the love you have for one another. I want your entire experience to feel special and something that you look forward to sharing with those you care most about, because they will be happy for your love too!
